Codex Hymn - Westward (Original | Official Lyric Video)

Eighty-one trials. One path to glory. 🐒🔥 "WESTWARD" is a high-octane Melodic Power Metal saga reimagining the legendary Journey to the West. It is not merely a retelling of a classic tale, but a sonic battle cry for those who face impossible odds. It traces the path of the Great Sage and the Holy Monk as they march through fire and deception to seize the Truth. Fusing the galloping rhythms of European Speed Metal with the soul-stirring melodies of the Erhu and Guzheng, this track bridges East and West in a thunderous collision. From the "Bull King" joining the fight to the terrifying illusions of the "White Bone Spirit," the song captures the chaos and the majesty of the pilgrimage without slowing down for a second. If you love music that combines ancient mythology with the adrenaline of modern metal, this journey is for you. A Personal Note: I am just one of many voices across the globe who want to echo the sheer epicness of Journey to the West. This legend is more than just a story; it is a timeless masterpiece of adventure and spirit. With this song, I hope to play a small part in keeping the Monkey King’s legacy alive for a new generation. The gates are open, the journey is done They bring the light from the setting sun! The evil is undone The true wisdom is finally won #CodexHymn #Westward #JourneyToTheWest #PowerMetal #SunoAI #SunWukong #MonkeyKing #OrientalMetal #EpicMusic #SpeedMetal #GuitarSolo #Metal #Legend #NewMusic2026 #music #fantasy #originalsong #gamingmusic #ironmaiden #goodvibes #mythology #journeytothewest
