What I Found in the Sand by a Swamp

I went metal detecting on a steep sandy bank by a small lake. The lake is more like a swamp, with still water, but the sandy bank by it is a good place to search. I worked right at the edge, close to the water. First came a small salt cellar with a glass insert. Then I found rings, four in one day, and three of them look like silver. One signet ring shows a bird on a branch, another has a crescent and a star.
