Before we dive into the wild—into the depths of the Golden River and the whispering forests—I'll walk you through the basics of survival, crafting, and interaction. #walkthrough #survivalgame #survival #indygames #goldriver #letsplay #asmr #games This is where your journey begins. 🔹Time is in your hands—literally. A digital watch in your inventory helps you keep track, with the current time displayed at the top of the screen. 🔹You can drag items with your mouse as usual, but holding CTRL speeds up the process. 🔹Any item that looks useful for crafting must first be examined. This unlocks new recipes and possibilities—check the appropriate tab to begin. 🔹Your first task: craft a backpack. But don’t get your hopes up—space is limited, and every slot matters. 🔹When your inventory is full, crafted items will fall to the ground. Pay attention—losing tools can cost you your life. 🔹Most items can be held in your hands. Hold the HOLD key to equip them, and press it again to put them back in your pocket. 🔹Some objects can be thrown—place them in the throw slot, or simply hold them and click the left mouse button. 🔹Use the mouse wheel to select different options—whether you’re filling a container with water or choosing where to save your progress. 🔹To use the compass, hold it or activate it via the quick slot. Directions will appear at the top of the screen. To put it away, hold HOLD again. 🔹Many items, like the fishing rod or flashlight, are actually containers. Double-click them to view their contents and see if they require extra components. 🔹Building a campfire unlocks the ability to save and load your session. 🔹Beds and sleeping bags serve only one purpose: they set your respawn point. There’s no sleeping here—only survival. 🔹Currently, only bottles can hold water. Equip the bottle, approach a water source, and scroll to fill it. But be warned: never drink straight from the river. Without medicine, your health will deteriorate fast. Hunger will spike, and death won’t be far behind. 🔹Fishing is a slow but rewarding task. Find a good spot, bait your rod, and be patient—the fish need to get used to you. Watch the float and the circular indicator on your back. When the fish bites, wait for the signal—then pull. If the circle turns red, the fish is fighting. Let it tire out, then keep reeling until the green bar fills. That’s your catch. 🌅 End of Day One And so, our first day of simple survival on the island comes to an end. We made it. In the next episode, we’ll venture deeper into the wild: try our hand at hunting, and maybe even find a place to call home. Thanks for watching—and stay prepared!
