The Cost of Being an Indie Author

When we look at an indie book, we rarely stop to think about everything it cost this author to get the book in front of us, and I'm not just talking about money. In this video, I talk about everything that an author has to pay for in order to get their book out into the world and into your hands. The financial cost, emotional cost, and cost of time. It's important to not only recognize how much they've gone through, but also to acknowledge how powerful our (the readers) small gestures are to an indie author.
