Preliminary Explorations with the Wilson-Hacklemann 19-tone Clavichord - Journey into the Hexagram

I had the wonderful opportunity to visit Scott Hacklemann in his shop to play the clavichord he built with Erv Wilson in 1975. Despite every key having the exact same fingering. The black and white key visual layout remains constant. The meantone expression of the piano is maintained to higher dimensions in meantone. It is not arbitrary, but structurally meaningful in how keys are distributed.
