How to sew an enclosed gusset: two methods. Confused by the burrito method? Here I show you two methods for sewing an enclosed gusset for underwear. The first method, which I use in my Daisy Briefs pattern, attaches the outer layer of the gusset to the front and back, then the lining layer is added in a second pass of stitching. In the second method, both layers of the gusset are added simultaneously with only two rows of stitching.
