Nobody hands you a manual when a parent dies. I lost my dad at 54 and my mom at 53 — I was 32 and 34 — and I had to figure out the hard parts alone: what paperwork actually matters, what benefits you're entitled to through work, who to call first, and how to keep functioning while everyone suddenly looks to you for answers. This channel is for the men who end up carrying that weight, especially Black men and men of color, in families where we don't talk about death until it's already in the room. We cover grief that nobody makes space for, death and legacy planning before you need it, the job benefits and decisions people never explain, and what it takes to become the anchor your family leans on when you never asked for the job. We do it with honesty, humor, and plain language — because making these topics less taboo is the whole point.
