Fatal Fury 3: Road to the Final Victory (Neo Geo) - Unused Mechanic

A weird, presumably unfinished mechanic that went unused in the final game. It doesn't seem to do anything aside from give the character(s) after-images (and in some cases even lag the game). It's not clear what this mechanic would've done, and it's not helped by the fact that this is the ONLY Fatal Fury game that has it. This is a video showcasing the mechanic using all characters.
