Breaching the Walls & Building a Bread Economy! Welcome back to LzTactics. In Episode 3 of the Crusader Trail on Extreme Difficulty, we are teaming up with Richard the Lionheart to take down two Caliphs. The Strategy: We start with plenty of resources, but the Blue Caliph pushes hard and early with Slaves, Arabian Swordsmen, and Fire Ballistae. Our plan is to set up a massive wheat and bread economy to fund our army. Once our defense is solid (complete with our own counter-siege Fire Ballistae), we take the fight to them. Instead of walking our melee troops into deadly pitch ditches, we use Catapults to smash their walls wide open, letting our Macemen charge straight in!
