Intro to Nordschleife | Ep #33 | BMW Z4 GT3 + 10 AI | #assettocorsa

Episode 33 takes us back to the Nordschleife, this time in the BMW Z4 GT3. Most of the overall session was actually spent running the prototype at night, but for the recorded portion I wanted something slower and a little more readable so I could keep developing the track imprint without everything happening at prototype speed. The imprint itself is coming along really well now, so the focus here was more on adapting that existing picture to the Z4 — learning its gearing, carrying its balance through the track, and working through a full field of AI at 82% strength and 100% aggression. And the AI can get a little wild out here. Nordschleife also has a way of making every mistake expensive. If I get it wrong badly enough, there usually isn't much of a recovery lap — there's a wall waiting somewhere. That made getting a clean recorded run take a little longer, but those resets are valuable training in themselves. The goal isn't necessarily perfection. It's leaving enough margin in the balance that I can absorb the variables — traffic, positioning, imperfect entries, unexpected AI behavior — while still carrying serious speed. More repetitions.
