Solo Tarp Camping in the Rain with Minimal Gear | Debris Raised Bed | Wet Weather Wild Camping

after a period of heavy rain I set out with minimal gear to wild camp in a forest, as it's winter here in England we have had a lot of rain fall and the ground is extremely muddy. I took 6 main items on this trip which were a tarp, a knife, a saw, a ferro rod, and a zebra billy can and a sleeping bag. I also had camera gear, a first aid kit some water and some basic food items (a fish and some rice) My goal was to build a raised bed out of whatever was to hand, in this case I used debris off the ground to create a platform to sleep on and used my tarp as a ground sheet and top cover in a kind of lean-to shelter. I enjoyed this trip and it was nice to get back to basics and practice a little bushcraft and self reliance. I hope you enjoy the film.
