The system is currently located around 310 km southeast of Puri, 310 km east-southeast of Gopalpur, 390 km east-southeast of Kalingapatnam and 470 km east of Visakhapatnam. The depression is expected to move west-northwestwards and intensify further over the next 24 hours.
