Mount Pulag via Ambangeg Trail | Part 2

We organized this overnight event but for those who want to DIY this check details and secure all requirements below. First you need to secure/reserve a slot before hiking Mt. Pulag. No Reservation no hike policy on this Mountain. Also, medical certificate is required. It is easy to secure slot. You just need to message or call Mt. Pulag eco trail FB or you can directly call Mt. Pulag DENR at 09127628844 or 09612499071. After securing slot, there will be a fees for the registration, guide fee, environmental fee and etc. just coordinate with the DENR so can anticipate your budget for the trip. Once reservation and coordination with the DENR. Below is the details on how to travel going to Mt. Pulag via DIY. -Ride a bus going to Baguio from Cubao or Pasay Terminal. (it would take 4-6hrs trip depende saan dadaan) From Baguio City you can ride a van or mini bus at the slaughter house Terminal or you can ride a taxi going to Kabayan Benguet. Of course riding a jeep is cheaper than renting a taxi. Ask the driver to drop you at the Mt. Pulag DENR. Once you're at the DENR. Register and fill up all necessary documents and settle all the payments. There will be a short orientation about Mt. Pulag and do's and don't while trekking the mountain. Once the orientation is done. You will now be heading to the babalak ranger station. Habal is the only mode of transpo from DENR to ranger station if you're on DIY travel. But, if your'e traveling in a group you can rent a jeepney. Then, if you're at the Babalak Ranger Station, you will be ask to register again and secure guide and porter if you need. There are also separate payment on this ranger station. Once registration and payments are settle you can now start trekking. -Enjoy hiking and camping! PS: There will be atleast two options to camp in Mt. Pulag. You can have a staycation or camp at ranger station and start trek at 2am in the morning. Or, you can camp at Camp 2 if you have all the needed equipment for camping. tho you need to be early at DENR and register because there's a limit in camping at camp 2. PPS: Don't underestimate the cold weather of Mt.
