The Knuckey 30ft pickup header (approximately 9 meters wide) is a high-capacity agricultural attachment manufactured in Australia by Knuckey Agricultural Engineering. Designed primarily for broadacre farming operations, it is widely utilized for picking up heavy windrowed or swathed crops—such as canola, grass seed, barley, peas, and vetch—and feeding them efficiently into high-horsepower combine harvesters. The header features a heavy-duty single or dual draper belt arrangement equipped with offset heavy-duty nylon fingers designed to lift windrows cleanly off the ground while minimizing crop disturbance and grain loss. A key engineering highlight of the 30ft model is its large-diameter "Maxi Turbo" table auger and a 3-roller pickup design, which allows for smooth crop transition and exceptionally high feed rates into the feederhouse even at higher field speeds. To ensure longevity and consistent feeding under harsh field conditions, the Knuckey 30ft pickup is built with 2mm stainless steel flooring, height-adjustable depth caster wheels with stubble guards, an adjustable top windguard to manage bulky windrows, and positive multi-roller hydraulic drive systems. It can be custom-fitted with false-front adapter plates to integrate seamlessly with all major combine brands, including Case IH, John Deere, New Holland, and Claas
