MH Wilds - AT Uth Duna Free Challenge | 3'44"87 | SnS Solo (Freestyle/No Heroics)

Since the last video, I rolled perfect reinforcements on my Thunder SnS which gave it +3 attack, so I went on this quest again to see how much difference 3 attack makes.. well, it barely matters LOL Cat buff timing was much earlier than my 3:51 run which probably made the difference here. I definitely regret using shock trap over pitfall at the end, but I was hoping the shock trap would land before Duna started the veil animation, just didn't work out. The delay of pitfall would've allowed me to sneak in some extra hits during the animation which would likely have saved time, though with my positioning in that moment, it does run the risk of rolling a bad Duna attack since he crawls forward a bit when escaping a pitfall. In the end, it was a split-second decision, and I took a gamble that could've easily netted a 3:3x if it had worked, it didn't work, unlucky, happens. Also probably did some suboptimal combos after skull due to nerves. Having said that, I think so many things went well in this run that I won't stress over what-if's. I suspect the limit for my setup is around the 3:30 mark (this run could've been high 3:3x for sure), but I've already surpassed my expectations by a lot, so I won't be running this quest solo without heroics anymore... unless I stumble across some JP speedrunner who smashes my time with like a new build or something. That's how I got dragged down the AT Arkveld rabbit hole after all...
