They Told Me NOT to Go… I Went Anyway

I almost let a hard season convince me that the adventure was over… but I kept going. After everything I’ve been through, I needed a moment to slow down, breathe, and remind myself that there is still so much beauty waiting on the other side of difficult seasons. In this video, I take you with me to one of Washington’s most breathtaking places, Diablo Lake. From waking up, traveling through the mountains, spending time with Choco, enjoying simple moments, and finally seeing the incredible turquoise waters of Diablo Lake… this day was a reminder that life is still full of beautiful moments. The name “Diablo” means “devil” in Spanish, but standing there surrounded by so much beauty made me think about how sometimes the hardest chapters of our lives can lead us to places we never imagined.
