This is my second mvid.Luke to me has always been a "means to an ends kind of guy". I really think that Laura's eyes have been his mirror. Without her there seems to be little self reflection. For all the bravado, arrogance, self-confidence... bubbling underneath is always this abused child. One who is capable of completely detaching from his feelings because he had to have a safe place far away from the pain and emotional stress that occurred at his father's hand.
