DON’T LEAVE TONIGHT 💔 | What If A-ha Had Released This in 1987? | 80’s THE LOST HITS

DON’T LEAVE TONIGHT is an original 1980s-style synth-pop / new wave love song created as a “lost hit” from 1987. What if a band from the golden age of synth-pop had released one more heartbreak anthem? Neon lights. Midnight streets. Gated drums. Analog synths. A huge romantic chorus. And one last chance before goodbye. “Don’t leave tonight… don’t disappear into the blue.” This song is inspired by the atmosphere, emotion and production language of classic 1980s synth-pop and new wave — bright synthesizers, melodic bass, DX-style keys, chorus guitar, gated drums, dramatic vocals and cinematic night-drive energy. This is NOT an A-ha song and is not affiliated with A-ha. It is a fully original composition imagined as a fictional forgotten 1987 hit.
