Silas Graves - The Timber Road Behind Us | Dark Country Full Album

A cinematic full album of Outlaw Country / Americana Noir built around cinematic dark country, Appalachian timber salvage descent at dusk, steep switchbacks, old sawmill slab, winch cable in laurel, cull block in red mud, unhitched gate left in peace, cold asphalt transition, depot halogen lights, quiet closure. The Timber Road Behind Us is a full Outlaw Country / Americana Noir album by Silas Graves, following Silas Graves down an abandoned Appalachian logging grade at dusk with a load of salvage oak. Eight connected songs follow the mountain cut at dusk, hot brakes on steep switchbacks, the overgrown concrete slab of an old sawmill, rusted cable in laurel roots, cull lumber wedged in red mud, an unhitched gate left in peace, tires humming onto valley asphalt, and the quiet acceptance of leaving the timber road dark and settled behind. Mood: cinematic dark country, Appalachian timber salvage descent at dusk, steep switchbacks, old sawmill slab, winch cable in laurel Tracklist - chapters: 00:00 1. Top of the Logging Cut 04:04 2.
