Building a Log Cabin Before Sunrise | Episode 16

The next day starts early at 5:40 AM. With only a headlamp lighting the way, I head to the worksite before sunrise to continue building my log cabin from trees harvested on my own land. In this episode, I collect more logs from the storage pile and haul them to the cabin site by trailer. Before installation, the logs need a few final adjustments, including carving grooves for linen insulation and drilling holes for the wooden dowels. As the darkness slowly gives way to daylight, another layer is added to the cabin. I've never built a log cabin before, so every step is a learning experience. Join me and follow the journey as I build this cabin one log at a time. #logcabin #logbuilding #cabinbuild #offgrid #woodworking #homestead #selfbuild #loghome #forestlife #DIYcabin #lineninsulation #woodworkingproject #tinycabin #finland #pakopaikka #buildinginpublic #craftsmanship #timberframe #cabinlife #offgridliving
