This adventure has been in the works since November, and after scouring the internet, we finally found the cheapest set of skis we could get our hands on. Now, it’s time to put them to the test! Flying on skis is something I’ve always wanted to do, but here’s the catch—I’ve never done it before. So, in true aviation fashion, we’re diving in headfirst, learning as we go, and probably making a few mistakes along the way. From rigging up the skis to figuring out how to take off (and, more importantly, land) on snow, this is going to be a mix of trial, error, and a whole lot of fun. Will this 80-year-old airplane handle the snow like a champ, or will I be in for a wild ride? Let’s find out. Stick around for: 1. A little aviation history 2. A crash course in ski flying (hopefully no actual crashing) 3. Some of the best winter flying footage you’ve ever seen #AviationVlog #SkiFlying #Aviation #Taildragger #BushFlying #FlyingAdventures
