In this video, we are talking about the CFMOTO 250 Dual. Please note that this is not an in-depth review. This is simply a first ride impression, where I share my experience with the bike and how it felt during the ride.
I got a chance to ride this bike for a while, and based on my initial experience, I do feel that for the price, it is quite competitive in the market.
Talking a bit about the bike itself, the CFMOTO 250 Dual comes with a 249cc single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that produces around 24 horsepower at 8000 rpm and 22.5 Nm of torque at 7000 rpm.
In terms of suspension, the bike gets USD telescopic forks in the front and a rear monoshock, with around 160 mm of suspension travel. The suspension tuning actually feels quite good while riding.
The bike also comes with a 21-inch front wheel and an 18-inch rear wheel, which is a typical setup for dual-sport motorcycles and helps with better stability on rough roads and light off-road terrain.
Some other key details include:
Seat height: 840 mm
Ground clearance: 245 mm
Fuel tank capacity: 13 litres
Kerb weight: around 154 kg
Dual-channel ABS and full LED lighting
Now talking about my riding experience — the suspension tuning feels really good, the handling is confident, and the power delivery is smooth and usable.
However, there are a few things that I personally didn’t like. The handlebar feels a bit too wide, and the display is quite narrow. Also, switchable ABS would have been nice, especially for a bike that is designed for mixed terrain.
Again, this is just my first ride impression.
