Maatrubhumi: May War Rest in Peace brings to the big screen a powerful story inspired by the courage, sacrifice and resilience displayed during the 2020 Galwan Valley clash. Set against the unforgiving landscape of the India-China border, the film follows Indian soldiers confronting extraordinary circumstances in one of the most difficult terrains on Earth. Far away from their families and surrounded by uncertainty, they stand together with one purpose — protecting their country and the men fighting beside them. Salman Khan steps into the role of Colonel B. Santosh Babu, the commanding officer whose leadership and courage became inseparable from the story of Galwan.
