Before the end of 2024, we managed a quick and easy day trip to Sacra di San Michele, a remarkable abbey built over 1,000 years ago and located just an hour from our place. We climbed the iconic "Stairway of the Dead" and explored its captivating interiors, complete with ancient frescoes.
