The Sunburst Band - Survivin' feat. Leroy Burgess (Joey Negro Boogietown Mix) 2008 EP

New Leroy Burgess, yes you read that right! This is the seriously funky 'Joey Negro Boogietown Mix'. Soulful House music at its finest. From Z Records: "Who better to deliver a lyric about the tough state of the times than Mr Barely Breaking Even himself - Leroy Burgess? This is live Disco at its best which even hardcore purists have said sounds like it could have been from one of Leroy's classic albums. The new mixes from Joey Negro pump up the live drums and add more energy for the dance floor. Choose from the full song on Joey Negro's Club Mix, the more instrumental Joey Negro Boogietown Mix which utilizes the Patrick Adams style chorus chords and squelchy 80's synths."
