Women in Emergency Services | International Women's Day 2022 | NT Emergency Services

Women across the Northern Territory Emergency Service are making a difference in their communities through volunteering, leadership, training and emergency response. For International Women's Day 2022, volunteers from the Darwin Volunteer Unit share their experiences with NT Emergency Service, the opportunities they've had through volunteering, and what they would say to other women considering joining. From community deployments and working alongside police and fire to training and opportunities to travel, volunteering with NT Emergency Service can provide valuable skills, new experiences and the chance to support people when they need it most. If you're thinking about joining, give it a go. You may be more capable than you think. #InternationalWomensDay #IWD2022 #NTES #WomenInEmergencyServices #Volunteering
