This is a remake of I'm So Sorry by Imagine Dragons. The story follows No. 16 after his devastating fall from the slag tip. Left abandoned in his shed in disgrace, he spends years forgotten before finally being purchased by a private owner and restored to service on the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway in the Midlands, the railway was never named in the story Cab Over Wheels so we are choosing one at random. Despite returning to work, the severe damage from the slag tip accident was never properly repaired. The hidden structural weaknesses gradually worsen, and his condition deteriorates rapidly until he is declared unfit for service. With no other option, he is put up for sale once again. A struggling mechanical engineering company, desperate for a steam locomotive to handle heavy industrial work, purchases No. 16. He is given a new purpose, shunting slag wagons to the tip day after day. But the years of neglected damage finally catch up with him. During one routine trip, he loses traction on the rails, slides uncontrollably, and crashes violently into the buffer stops, bringing his tragic journey to another devastating end.
