Capturing a flagged 23 × 10 base.
Many players consider high-level bases almost impossible to capture while they are protected by a flag. Experienced alliances know what it takes to succeed. In this video, I will show everyone else how it is done.
And, of course, we are attacking another TITANIUM base.
Recently, ENRICO captured two Level 11 bases in succession all by himself—although neither base had a flag. Unflagged bases are extremely vulnerable in Global Base Combat, even when they are highly upgraded. A flag, however, multiplies a base’s armor by ten, turning every attack into a serious challenge.
A look at the groups assembled around the base shows just how many forces the PREUSSEN alliance has deployed for this attack.
The large number of NH90 helicopters immediately stands out. They may deal less damage than their more powerful relatives, but they do not require ammunition. That is an enormous advantage during very long battles. We are also using DF10As and ASTROs. Their ammunition is considerably easier to obtain than helicopter ammunition. And because our target is close to a railway line, we can also deploy trains with their own ammunition supply.
Our cannon fodder is crowded together in front of the base. This starts with the inexpensive Zanzara drones. They deal hardly any damage to the base themselves. Their job is simply to get shot down, giving the damage dealers I mentioned earlier more time to attack.
Large numbers of Hornets can already deal respectable damage to a base, while the CR500Bs are even stronger. I particularly recommend CR500Bs to players who want to get the most out of a limited number of groups.
To give newer players an idea of how powerful they are: A single group of CR500Bs can capture a beginner base on its own, with 19 of its 27 drones surviving. In other words, CR500Bs combine significant damage with the ability to serve as cannon fodder.
The battle essentially consists of delivering more ammunition and constantly replacing the cannon fodder in front of the base. When most of your helicopters do not require ammunition, you are free to focus on possible counterattacks. That is extremely important, even though the TITANIUM player does not respond in this case.
