Seeing Ivory Towers left to rot by the previous owners really hurt. It is in real need for some refurbishment, which is exactly what I've been doing for this scenario.
After hiring staff to clean up the mess and replacing all the broken benches, bins and lampposts, I found this park needed a proper entrance area. I did so by adding a nostalgic carousel ride and building a restaurant there with a nice seating area next to the lake. I also enhanced the station of the monorail which also marks the border of the park entrance area. At a park called Ivory Towers, Elephant entertainers are not to be missed!
Going straight on from the entrance walls, you'll find a Ferris wheel, Helter Skelter and Treetopper, the pre-built junior coaster. It winds through the woods and over the lake. I converted this section of the park into a fairy tale themed area. There's candy to be bought here too. In this forest we can also find a haunted house with a "hidden" car ride when guests exit the house, a bit like Phantom Manor from the Disneyland parks.
A large restaurant with a lakeview terrace can also be used for guest's refreshments. Going over one of the bridges, you enter the mine-themed area. While there is a swinging ship and twister ride, the main attraction is the mine train coaster that winds across the hills. A splash at the end is the surprising factor of this ride!
Moving on, you enter the space-themed area. This area was the most expensive to make due to all the landscaping, but I think it stands out! I modified the swinging coaster so it's less nauseating, mainly by lowering the chain lift hill at the start. Even then, I have quite a bit of hard-working handymen here, as I decided to add some more thrilling rides. The space shot and motion simulator would be the main vomit generators, but I can imagine the space rings being one too. Let's not forget the 3D cinema...
The last themed area of the park is the Roman bit. Remember Crumbly Woods, where I removed Whiplash? I promised to replace it to another park. Well, here it is, Ivory Towers is the lucky one! I gave it a new colour, a Roman Tower inspired station building and now I find it fits perfectly well in the area. It must be nice to look at from multiple angles around the park.
Finally, you can go for a panoramic view of Ivory Towers in the observation tower or wheel.
Let's keep this park clean and tidy from now on. It deserves it 😄
