Tampa Bay Automobile Museum | Pinellas Park | FL

This video is for lovers of vintage automobiles, like me ☺️. This museum has some very old cars, mostly, but not exclusively, from France. The collection includes a completely functional replica of Nicholas-Joseph Cugnot‘s steam powered Fardier (wheeled cart), the first self-propelled vehicle in the world! The collection of cars in this museum belongs to Alain A. Cerf. He is the founder of Polypack, Inc. His company designs and manufactures automatic packaging machinery. Mr. Cerf was born in France. On the museum website, he shares how he bought his first "vintage car" out of necessity, when a car such as a Talbot, Delahaye or Darl’ Mat was less expensive than a modern “people’s car.” According to him, he loved those classics, and one after another, after good service, each car he bought was garaged, waiting for better years.
