Palo, a 3rd class municipality in Leyte, Philippines, has a population of 76,213 and is the most populous non-city in the province. It houses most government departments, regional offices, and the Archdiocese of Palo offices. In 2022, President Duterte inaugurated the new Leyte Provincial Capitol in Palo, pending a law changing the provincial capital from Tacloban.
