Sometimes choosing yourself doesn't mean you stopped loving someone. Sometimes the phone goes quiet. The conversations stop. Life keeps moving. You get dressed. You put on your makeup. You go about your day. And underneath all of it, the love is still there. You Are Loved is for the person you may no longer know how to reach, but whose place in your heart didn't disappear simply because something between you had to change. There is no anger in this song.
