FINALLY! Our New Oak Flooring Is Going Down… But There's a Catch! 😬 | Ep108

Autumn has well and truly arrived here at our 200-year-old Scottish cottage, and this week we're FINALLY making a start on something we've been looking forward to for ages... laying our beautiful new oak flooring! 🍂🏡 With Iain back to lend a hand, we're hoping to make some serious progress on the living room renovation. But as we've discovered time and time again, nothing in an old cottage is ever quite as straightforward as it seems! Before we can even get started on the flooring, a few unexpected jobs need our attention. And while Adam and Iain get stuck into the hard work, Johnny has a rather unusual idea for transforming the previously painted white beams and bringing back some of that old-world cottage character. But will his latest DIY experiment actually work? 😬 We also escape the dust, paint and power tools for a little while to enjoy the spectacular autumn countryside with Benji and Alfie. A welcome reminder of why we fell in love with this beautiful part of Scotland and decided to call it home. ❤️🐾 So grab yourself a cuppa and join us for another week of DIY, cottage renovations, a few frustrations, plenty of laughs, and hopefully some long-awaited progress! --- 🔋 ECOFLOW | PREPARING FOR WINTER POWER CUTS This week's episode includes a paid partnership with EcoFlow.
