Coloring Anime Fanart with Alcohol Markers

Dear YouTube Support Team, I am writing to express my serious concern and disappointment regarding the removal of my livestream on 9 October 2026, at approximately 12:25 PM, and the subsequent disabling of livestreaming on my channel, BAYLA ART STUDIO. I am a mother of four children and the adult owner and creator of this channel. My livestream was a peaceful, adult-led drawing session. I was creating original artwork, interacting with my viewers and recording my drawing process for a video I intended to edit and upload afterwards. During the livestream, the postman arrived at my door. I stepped away from my computer briefly to answer the door and returned shortly afterwards. To my shock, YouTube had removed my livestream and disabled my ability to go live. I subsequently received an email stating that my livestream had violated YouTube’s Child Safety Policy because a minor under 16 was apparently livestreaming without an adult visibly present. I want to make it absolutely clear that I was the adult hosting this livestream. I did not intentionally leave my children to host or conduct a livestream. I was simply answering my front door during an ordinary family day. I have no idea what occurred during those brief moments, and I would appreciate a clear explanation of what YouTube identified as a violation. I have asked my children, but they have not explained what happened. I fully respect the importance of protecting children online. However, I am extremely distressed by the consequences of this incident, particularly as I was unaware of what had occurred. My greatest concern is the loss of my original artwork footage. I spent considerable time drawing, and the recording contains the creative process I intended to use for my next YouTube video. Losing that footage means losing hours of work that cannot simply be recreated. I am not requesting that any potentially problematic footage remain publicly available. If possible, I would welcome the removal of the specific section that caused concern. I respectfully request: 1. A human review of the incident and clarification of the specific circumstances that triggered the removal. 2. Reconsideration of the restriction preventing me from livestreaming. 3. Restoration of my original recording, or an alternative means of obtaining a private copy of my drawing footage for editing, even if the livestream cannot be restored publicly. I have already submitted an appeal through YouTube Studio, but I wanted to provide the full circumstances and explain how significantly this has affected my creative work. I will take additional precautions to ensure my livestreams remain compliant with YouTube’s policies. Please review my situation with consideration for the circumstances.
