It was a brutally hot morning, but the ride was already planned. I started the morning by the pond, grabbed some cold water, and took a moment to escape the heat before getting back on my bike. The ride was going fine until I couldn't figure out the way back. I opened Google Maps, followed the route, and somehow ended up at a dead end with a tunnel running underneath the road. Not exactly where I expected the ride to take me. Sometimes, you start a ride with one plan and end up finding something completely different. This is what a post-rain morning ride feels like. No talking.
