Conveyor Impact Cradle on Display at CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026

At CONEXPO-CON/AGG 2026, Joe Gibson from Superior Industries demonstrates the company's innovative toolless conveyor impact cradle, a maintenance-focused solution designed to dramatically reduce downtime and simplify impact bar replacement in conveyor systems. https://superior-ind.com/news/superio... Traditional conveyor impact beds often require extensive labor to replace worn impact bars, with maintenance crews spending hours—and sometimes an entire shift—removing and reinstalling components. Superior Industries has reimagined the process with a toolless impact cradle that allows operators to complete maintenance faster, safer, and with significantly less effort. The system utilizes a simple pin-retention design. By removing just three pins from each side bracket, maintenance personnel can slide worn impact bars out from one side while simultaneously feeding new bars into position. This streamlined approach eliminates many of the challenges associated with conventional impact bed maintenance and helps keep conveyor systems running efficiently. Even in real-world installations where conveyor belts and skirt boards are present, the core maintenance process remains straightforward. If necessary, a small hammer can be used to assist movement of the bars, but the design is engineered to allow quick replacement with minimal tools and minimal disruption to production. The Superior Industries toolless impact cradle is designed to help aggregate producers, mining operations, bulk material handlers, and industrial facilities reduce maintenance time, improve worker safety, and lower the total cost of conveyor ownership. Watch the full demonstration to see how this innovative conveyor impact cradle simplifies maintenance and helps maximize uptime in demanding material handling environments. #CONEXPO2026 #SuperiorIndustries #ImpactCradle #ConveyorMaintenance #BulkMaterialHandling #AggregateEquipment #MiningEquipment #ConveyorSystems #MaterialHandling #IndustrialMaintenance #MiningIndustry #QuarryEquipment #PlantMaintenance
