I Waited 12 MONTHS For This Guitar… Was It Worth It?

I waited almost a full year for this guitar. In early March 2025, I placed the order… and almost 12 months later, it finally arrived. Nearly a year of waiting, wondering, and hoping it would live up to expectations. So the big question is… Was it worth it? In this video, I unbox the guitar for the very first time, share my honest first impressions, talk about the build quality, neck feel, hardware, pickups, and how it actually plays — plus there’s a full track at the end so you can hear it properly in context. Spoiler alert… I absolutely adore it! The finish is stunning, the black hardware looks incredible, and the playability surprised me in the best possible way. Huge thanks to GuitarGuitar for handling the order and getting this one safely to me after the long wait — really appreciate it! — For those wondering, this is the Sterling by Music Man LUKE (Steve Lukather signature model) — one of the most popular modern superstrat-style guitars on the market right now. If you’re into:• Music Man guitars• Steve Lukather tone• Signature model guitars• Modern superstrats• High-end feel without custom shop pricing• Purple sparkle finishes 😎 You’re going to enjoy this one. I’ll be featuring this guitar in a LOT of upcoming videos. Let me know in the comments — what’s the longest you’ve ever waited for a guitar… and was it worth it?
