This is a collaborative performance of "Tuireadh Iain Ruaidh." The music is an old Scottish traditional tune. The Scottish Gaelic lyrics were written more recently by [20th-Century] Scottish poet Edward Pursell. The title, "Tuireadh Iain Ruaidh," translates to English as "Lament for Red Iain" (i.e., "red" as in "complexion," meaning red hair.) --- Vocal track by "ScottishGaelicSongs"    / scottishgaelicsongs   My parts include: piano, Technopipes (in smallpipe mode), high whistle and alto whistle. --- "ScottishGaelicSongs" made an a cappella recording, which is here on YouTube. When I came across her recording, I immediately wanted to track out my own accompaniment to complement her performance. She was more than happy to let me do so. And the exceptional Scottish Highland photography used in the video is the work of Steve Carter (used with permission.) Be sure to checkout his website: http://www.SteveCarter.com
