Split Your Head - Ep. 53 - Interview with SamHel (Disfigured Perception, Man-O-Wolf)

WARNING: CONTAINS DISCUSSIONS OF GRAPHIC CONTENT INVOLVING VIOLENCE, GORE, SEXUALITY THAT SOME MAY FIND OFFENSIVE/TRIGGERING This episode features a fascinating chat with extreme underground horror filmmaker, SamHel. Sam is one of the most prolific figures to rise up in this hyper-niche scene with many of his films pushing the envelope for hardcore sexuality and shocking gore. However, upon picking his brain, I found some of the most heartfelt and grounded answers to come from someone creating such disturbing content. His processes and methods showcase a high level of ethics and consideration, while he continuously challenges himself as an artist and a human being. Needless to say, this conversation was a banger and I have the highest respect for this guy.
