You don’t need to go anywhere far to have a really good day. 🌊 Today we’re spending one of our days off exploring the Lizard Peninsula in Cornwall — taking a slow coastal walk, stopping to admire the views, going for a swim in the sea and making the most of a beautiful summer’s day in one of the places we’re lucky enough to call home. A slow summer day in Cornwall, spent doing some of the simplest things we love — walking along the coast, swimming in the sea, taking in the scenery and enjoying a little treat along the way. In this Cornwall vlog, we’re exploring the beautiful Lizard Peninsula, one of our favourite parts of Cornwall. It’s a relaxed day out with a coastal walk, some sightseeing, a refreshing sea swim and a visit to one of our favourite places for a little ice cream. I’m trying to remind myself more and more that you don’t need an expensive holiday, a big adventure or a perfectly planned day to make good memories. Sometimes the best days are the ordinary ones — getting in the car, finding somewhere beautiful, spending time outside and appreciating what’s already around you. This is what I hope A Simple Cornish Life will be about: slow living in Cornwall, exploring the place we call home, enjoying ordinary days, making the most of what we have and finding happiness in the little things.
