【决战心碎之巅：拔丝地瓜】The Ultimate showdown of Heartbreak: "Caramelized Sweet Potato"(2026) Short Film

A short film made by 橘子念念, adapted from an online short story named 【拔丝地瓜】 "Caramelized Sweet Potato" (Turn on the CC option) Directed by: Huang Ruobing Produced by: Kaobei Films Cast: Wu Yanling, Sun Cailun Originally uploaded on 橘子念念's page on XHS, "In the next life, let's be girls again..." http://xhslink.com/o/5rcZuutTyXL Synopsis: Xiao Ling had always believed that Jiang Andi never included her in any future plans. In reality, Andi had intended to propose to Xiao Ling on their 3rd anniversary. She wore a T-shirt with the word "UP" on it to make Xiao Ling look up, as she had hidden the ring on the ceiling. However, on the day itself, Xiao Ling saw Andi chatting with someone else, and out of jealousy she picked a fight with Andi. Andi later passed away unexpectedly, turning the planned surprise into a source of lifelong regrets. At one moment, while celebrating both their birthdays at the beach, Andi heard someone call her name. It was actually the echo of Xiao Ling, in a parallel timeline, shouting "I do" after putting on the engagement ring Andi had intended for her. In the end, Xiao Ling wrote "THX" in the sand, wanting to tell Andi that she finally realized she had been part of Andi's future plans all along, but it's too late. I just added the ENG subs and re-uploaded the short film here. Credit goes to the rightful owners.
