Episode 1 | The Crow Strider AU: The Animated Comic Dub

At the start of his spiral during the three-year trip, Davesprite has a revelation when John jokes about him going godtier. It should have been the fix he needed from being a sprite, but nothing can be that simple for our hybrid friend. Hiding away while he wrangles with his new form, Jade comes across Davesprite and offers a much-needed perspective for his new reality. --- The Crow Strider AU (CSAU) is a comic series based on Homestuck, in which the titular character, Davesprite, reborn as Crow Strider, rebuilds his identity and learns what a loving, supportive family is like... until everything falls apart. Join him as he inadvertently triggers a chain reaction that ripples across the timeline. A happy ending awaits for everyone, they just need to fight for it. This animated comic dub is a faithful adaptation to the original comic, featuring art taken straight from the pages, cleaned up, and given color. There's even brand new art added to nearly every page. Text has been altered to add character's typing quirks, and there's many tweaks and rewrites to the dialog. All of this is done with full approval by the comic's creator, ‪@merakisunset‬. It was supposed to release as part of a weekly upload schedule, but I decided I didn't want everyone waiting any longer than they already have. 0:00 - Intro 0:05 - John: Make a Joke. 0:31 - Hybrid Talk 3:00 - Atrium 6:35 - Freeze 9:18 - A Bird's Name 13:25 - Life on the Ship 14:30 - Credits Read CSAU in it's entirety on MSPFA: https://mspfa.com/?s=44153&p=1 Follow   / meraki-sunset   for more CSAU Follow   / eldritchdraaks   for occasional updates on the dub (but mostly memes) Support me on Ko-fi!
