Veitsberg - Kein Geheimtipp im Mangfallgebirge, aber einfach nur genial!

Der Veitsberg stand schon lange ganz oben auf meiner Liste – heute ging’s endlich los! Start am Wanderparkplatz Fürschlacht und schon bald wartet mit dem Veitsbergtrail ein echtes Highlight: abwechslungsreich, perfekt angelegt und einfach genial zu gehen. Über die Riedebenalm geht’s weiter Richtung Gipfel – mit immer besserem Blick auf das Ziel. Der letzte Abschnitt führt über eine Grasflanke hinauf zum Grat und schließlich entspannt zum Gipfel auf 1787 m. Oben wartet ein traumhaftes Panorama im Mangfallgebirge und ein wunderschönes Gipfelkreuz – genau der perfekte Ort zum Durchatmen. The Veitsberg had been right at the top of my list for ages – today I finally set off! Starting from the Fürschlacht car park, the Veitsberg Trail soon presents a real highlight: varied, perfectly laid out and simply brilliant to walk. We continued towards the summit via the Riedebenalm – with an ever-improving view of our destination. The final section leads up a grassy slope to the ridge and finally, on a gentle climb, to the summit at 1,787 m. At the top, a stunning panorama of the Mangfall Mountains and a beautiful summit cross await – just the perfect spot to catch your breath.
