Song of Amergin (as Gaeilge) | "Is mise an ghaoth, is mise an grian" - Celtic Pagan Invocation

Immerse yourself in the powerful voice of the land. This is a modern Irish rendition of the "Song of Amergin" (Amhrán Amhairghin), an ancient incantation from the Irish Mythological Cycle. According to legend, the druid-poet Amergin Glúingel chanted this song to claim the soul of Ireland for the Milesians, identifying himself with every element of creation in a profound act of poetic magic. An Teanga Bunaidh (The Original Text in Modern Irish) Mír mo thír, mo thír ocus mo muir Mír mo chríoch, mo chríoch ocus mo fhás Is mise Amergin, filid na nGaoidheal Iomall na talún is sruth na n-abhan Gach cnoc is gleann, gach coill ocus sruthán Is mise fuaim an gaoith, is mise tintreach an spéir Is mise solas na gréine, is mise scáth na gealaí Is mise ceo na maidne agus ceo na hoíche Is mise i dtaobh na gcnoc, i dtaobh na gleannta I dtaobh na coilleanna is i dtaobh na habhann Is mise guth na n-éan, is mise guth na n-éanlaith Is mise i ngach duilleog, is mise i ngach bláth Is mise torann na spéire, is mise fonn na farraige Is mise an sreang ar an chrann, is mise ceol na n-éan Is mise fuaim na duilleoga ag crith sa ghaoth Is mise an ceo ag ardú ón abhainn go dtí na sléibhte Is mise gaoth na maidne, is mise ceo na hoíche Is mise solas na gréine, is mise scáth na gealaí Is mise fuaim an uisce ag sreabhadh Is mise an torann na gcloch ag bualadh Is mise i ngach áit, is mise sa gcríoch Is mise an t-uisce, is mise an talamh Is mise an t-adharc, is mise an guth Is mise i ngach crann, is mise i ngach bláth Is mise an carraig, is mise an fhéileacán Is mise i ngach abhainn, is mise i ngach sruthán Is mise na réaltaí, is mise an ghealach Is mise an ghrian, is mise an spéir Is mise Amergin, filid na nGaoidheal Iomall na talún is sruth na n-abhan Mo dhúchas, mo thír, mo chríoch Mo shaol agus mo anam An Aistriúchán Béarla (English Translation) A portion of my land, my land and my sea A portion of my territory, my territory and my growth I am Amergin, poet of the Gaels The edge of the land and the flow of the rivers Every hill and valley, every forest and stream I am the sound of the wind, I am the lightning of the sky I am the light of the sun, I am the shade of the moon I am the mist of the morning and the mist of the night I am in the side of the hills, in the side of the glens In the side of the woods and in the side of the river I am the voice of the birds, I am the voice of the birds I am in every leaf, I am in every flower I am the roar of the sky, I am the swell of the sea I am the string on the tree, I am the music of the birds I am the sound of the leaves trembling in the wind I am the mist rising from the river to the mountains I am the morning wind, I am the night mist I am the light of the sun, I am the shade of the moon I am the sound of the water flowing I am the sound of the stones striking I am in every place, I am in the territory I am the water, I am the land I am the horn, I am the voice I am in every tree, I am in every flower I am the rock, I am the butterfly I am in every river, I am in every stream I am the stars, I am the moon I am the sun, I am the sky I am Amergin, poet of the Gaels The edge of the land and the flow of the rivers My heritage, my country, my territory My life and my soul The Magic of the Song: This poem is a powerful declaration of unity with the cosmos. By stating "Is mise..." (I am...), Amergin is not just describing nature; he is claiming identity with it. This reflects a core Celtic spiritual principle where the boundaries between self and world are fluid, and the poet-druid can speak for the very soul of the land itself. #SongOfAmergin #AsGaeilge #CelticPagan #Amergin #Druid #IrishPoetry #IrishMythology #Animism #ModernIrish #IsMise #PaganChant #Meditation #Gaeilge 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 Download this track (Royalty-Free, Commercial Use): https://teramangalameditationmusic.ba... 🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀🍀 More music and licensing on https://teramangalameditationmusic.ba... © Tera Mangala Meditation Music - All Right Reserved | Any reproduction or republication of all or part of this video/audio is prohibited.
