NYCT QM64 Bus Ride: 2013 MCI D4500CT 2295 from Kips Bay to Elmont

Taken on 8/12/26. Video onboard MTA 2013 MCI D45000CT 2295 operating on the QM64 from East 23rd Street & 1st Avenue in Kips Bay, Manhattan to Elmont Road & Dutch Broadway in Elmont. This is one of a few D4500CTs left at NYCT and Queens Village Depot as the majority have left for MTA Bus to spend their final months / years. The QV Express bus fleet was historically dominated by MCI coaches throughout the 2000s even as Prevosts started gaining ground and outnumbering in MCI strongholds after their introduction in 2012. QV operated 2002 MCI D4500s and we're replaced by the 2013 MCI D4500CTs. The MCI dominance remained up until 2026, when a reshuffle of buses between depot's across the city led to Queens Village Depot receiving many Prevost X3-45s from Staten Island.
