Wild Trout in So Cal with Japanese Lures

Fishing in my local mountains on a beautiful day with an old friend. The fish were small but aggressive and challenging to hook. It was good to see them thriving after all the crazy flooding in recent years. All the fish I landed were on a Smith D compact 38mm lure. I was using a Great Hunting Huntsman 5'3" ultralight rod, Shimano Calcutta Conquest BFS reel, Varivas Double Cross 9lb braid with a 6lb fluorocarbon leader. I hope you enjoy the footage. God bless.
