Milwaukee Protocol (Without Rabies) - Day 1 (Full Album)

Milwaukee Protocol (Without Rabies) is my personal take on a "without the disease" concept that I applied here to The Patients' Milwaukee Protocol, a plunderphonic album series meant to depict the progression of human rabies in audio form. This is a complete overhaul of my original day 1 upload which was originally known as "Milwaukee Protocol (But You Don't Have Rabies)". Instead of just having the samples play at their original speeds I've decided to incorporate field recordings, reverb and other additions/changes so as to bring out the full potential of this album's concept. Likewise, this wasn't made to downgrade or tarnish in any way or form the album series this is based on. Quite the opposite, it's meant to be a tribute to the amazing work performed by The Patients. Please, I highly recommend listening to the original release first if you haven't before delving into this one:    • Milwaukee Protocol - Days 1-4 (COMPLETE)   Any comments and feedback will be greatly appreciated. DAY 1 - ORDINARY LIFE You wake up to a new day with great relief and energy, barely remembering having a bad dream which you dismiss completely as you begin your morning routine. The breeze blows nicely against your skin on your way to work - it's pleasantly refreshing. You take offense - but you can only blame yourself here as you ponder the situation while in the subway. Today's news coverage left you in a worse mood - should look for a different channel next time. Day 1 notes: Turns out Burial's "Untitled" sample in B1 is actually from the 2006 release and not the one from Untrue. This time around I did find the Thom Yorke interview in B3. Improvised certain tracks such as B2 and B5 since it wasn't feasible trying to keep these faithful to their original opuses while giving them the "Without Rabies" treatment at the same time. Expect this to become more and more frequent as the series progresses, in case it does that is.
