This video is Part 5 of a special 5-part Bangkok journey connecting MRT Hua Lamphong, Wat Traimit, Yaowarat, and MRT Mangkon through a combination of underground travel and walking. Through this series, this channel brings you 5 separate videos as one connected journey: • Part 1: MRT Hua Lamphong | Platform → Exit    • Bangkok MRT Hua Lamphong | Platform → Exit...   • Part 2: Daytime Walk | MRT Hua Lamphong → Wat Traimit    • Bangkok Daytime Walk | MRT Hua Lamphong → ...   • Part 3: Daytime Walk | Wat Traimit → Yaowarat    • Bangkok Daytime Walk | Wat Traimit → Yaowa...   • Part 4: Daytime Walk | Yaowarat → MRT Mangkon    • Bangkok Daytime Walk | Yaowarat → MRT Mang...   • Part 5: MRT Mangkon | Enter → Platform (This Video) *~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~ The journey now comes to its final stage. After walking through Yaowarat, I enter MRT Mangkon and continue down into Bangkok's underground railway network. Just moments earlier, the journey was surrounded by the streets of Chinatown — traffic, shops, buildings, people, and the sounds of everyday Bangkok. Now, the atmosphere changes again. The busy streets gradually disappear behind the station entrance. The sound of the city becomes quieter as the journey moves underground. Escalators, corridors, station signs, ticket gates, and the familiar sounds of an MRT station become part of the final part of the journey. There is something interesting about ending a walking journey at a train station. After experiencing Bangkok at street level, the city once again becomes a network of stations and railway lines. But the journey does not simply end at the station entrance. I continue from the entrance toward the platform, following the station through its underground spaces. For travelers using MRT Mangkon, this short journey also gives a simple look at what the transition from the street to the MRT platform feels like. More than anything, this is the final step of a connected journey. From Hua Lamphong to Wat Traimit. From Wat Traimit to Yaowarat. From Yaowarat to MRT Mangkon. One journey. Five videos. Different ways of experiencing Bangkok. Sometimes, travel is not about reaching one famous destination. It is about everything that happens between the beginning and the end. And this journey ends here, beneath the streets of Bangkok. No Cuts Unless Necessary. No talking. No background music. Minimal editing. Just real sounds, movement, and atmosphere.
