960 sequencing, ratcheting with Doepfer A-160-5 and patching sounds

Here I demonstrate in more detail how I use the behringer 960 sequencer to get old school ratcheting sounds with the behringer model 55. The pitch CV from the 960 goes through a tubbutec uTune quantizer to keep the scaling stable also I made myself a custom attenuator lead which halves the CV output of the 960 to 1 volt for an easy to dial in one octave bass range. The quantized sequencer CV goes to CP3A-O where it is summed with the CV out from a Keystep 37 which I use to transpose the sequences or play the synth manually when not using the sequencer. 921B VCOs sawtooth outputs go via a CP3A-M mixer to the 904A VCF and then the 902 VCA. Dual digital delay and reverb are added in the mixer. The 911 envelope for the filter control goes to the variable input of the 992 control voltages module to provide envelope amount control which is critical for getting the right plucked percussive sounds I like to use. As ever ratcheting of the notes is done by the Doepfer A-160-5 with a random control voltage coming from a Doepfer Darktime sequencer on the other side of the studio. Clock for the sequencer comes from the tubbutec uTune which extracts 1/8 or 1/16 clocks from the midi input. Regular speed 1/8 goes to input 1 of 962 sequential switch, ratcheted clock to input 2 and double speed 1/16 clock on input 3 so I can switch different voltage triggers to the 961 interface which converts them to s-triggers for the 911 envelope generators.
