JXVS — Hypnotic, Raw & Groove Techno | XETA & FRIENDS EP.031

JXVS brings a hypnotic, groove-driven techno session to Xeta & Friends, moving through raw rhythms, psy-tech textures, and high-energy peak-time selections. Based in Los Angeles, JXVS is a DJ and producer whose sound moves between hypnotic techno, raw techno, psy-tech, and peak-time, with a focus on deep grooves, driving percussion, and experimental elements. With over 10 years behind the decks, JXVS first discovered techno around 2011, with Richie Hawtin becoming one of his earliest major influences. As his sound evolved, he found himself increasingly drawn toward the groovier and more hypnotic side of techno—the space where repetition, rhythm, and subtle progression create movement on the dancefloor. His current influences include Axel Karakasis, Tawa Girl, Aaron King, Kaufmann (DE), and Elvis Xhema, each contributing to the driving, hypnotic, and groove-focused direction behind his selections and productions. For his Xeta & Friends session, JXVS dives directly into that sound: groovy, high-energy, hypnotic, and slightly experimental, building a set around continuous movement and flow while exploring the intersection of raw techno, hardgroove, psy-tech, and peak-time energy. Outside of DJing, JXVS has been producing for the past four years and is currently working on an upcoming two-track EP focused on the groovy and hypnotic sound that has become a defining part of his style.
